Ruby (my rotti) just completed a weeks board and training with JP. Honestly, I couldn't recommend JP more highly! I am super impressed with the change I have already seen in her, since picking her up and I am looking forward to implementing the strategies that JP has passed on, now that we are back home. I have seen a couple of trainers over the last couple of years and JP has the skills, knowledge and expertise that is the best of the best! It’s obvious that he loves and knows what his doing. Thanks again for everything JP!

JP was excellent with our naughty Australian Shepherd, Koda. He’s just 12 months old with zero attention and discipline. Within 30 minutes he had him behaving himself in a way he never has before. Definitely 5 stars. We will be following up with further training and working on the tools JP has given us to get naughty Koda to be safe.

We just completed snake avoidance training with JP and already can't wait to go back for the annual refresher. His knowledge and skills are evident from the very first moment you meet him and see his interaction with the dogs. We took our big 14-month Rottweiler Leroy for a session with JP yesterday. Leroy is a “covid” boy who had only had very basic training by us.. He pulls so much I’m sure my neighbours were waiting for the free entertainment when one day he finally drags me over… (he weighs the same as me) When we arrived at JP’S and without fail he dragged me everywhere while JP came out to meet him.. JP was very patient and chatted to us for 10 mins while we explained the habits that we had let Leroy get away with.. we handed the leash over and he worked his magic.

I took my 18 month old Bull Arab X to JP for a training session to get his interaction with other dogs assessed as he becomes over-excited and anxious. JP was really good in listening to my issues & explained the 'why' behind what we were going to do, gave a clear structure with what we were going to do and then did the lesson. I could see results right there and then. Looking forward to future lessons and I'd highly recommend JP. I drive from Seymour to see him and it's worth it.

JP is actually the best! He didn’t tell us what not to do but rather what we should do, which was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about dogs and shared the reasons behind his methods, which helped us understand our dog better. Our 8 month old GSD warmed up to him so quickly, and JP was so kind towards him. We have always been nervous with trainers as most can be arrogant and pushy, but JP absolutely blew us away with how comfortable he made it for all of us, and how understanding he was.

I would highly recommend JP and his services. I sent my rottie Blade for a week to board and train with JP. He was extremely professional and provided multiple daily updates to ensure confidence that Blade was in good hands and having a blast learning. I am amazed at the progress he has made with her in a week. I now feel confident in walking her and feel I have valuable tools to help continue her training. We honestly cannot thank JP enough the moment we dropped off axel to him for board training we knew he was in good hands. Everything was thoroughly explained and what we wanted to achieve. Not your average puppy school/dog trainer. Going there and having absolutley no idea about dogs JP was so knowledgable with big and small dogs. For the first time meeting him and interacting with my dog I felt at ease, he was training her and explaining to us in detail why he was doing what he was and answering all questions. It made me feel really comfortable and helped me being the first puppy. JP also communicates via messages after training day if I had any questions.

Great experience working with JP. On time and very professional. Zip and I just finished our second snake training session and I couldn’t be happier. Living on a property and having lost a dog to a snake bite I am 100% confident that we won’t have to worry about that in the future.
